In 2010 R.J. Sweeney recorded his album Ever Clear. The base tracks were from recordings from the distant past on actual tape reels. Although they were quite noisy. Him and the producer decided to run with the sound, cleaning them up a bit but layering yet more imperfection via vinyl sounds. Percussion was added via real and found percussion.. a few midi parts here and there were also added and then vocals were written and sung by Sweeney.. He describes the sound as "finding an old tape in the attic" ..

At the beginning of 2023. Dope Snare was playing some stuff he was working on for Sweeney and he must have enjoyed it because he asked him to use his Ever Clear album for source material to sample and make a bunch beats with and "see what you come up with"

Dope Snare hunkered down and went crazy with different patterns, tempos, and vibes over the course of a few weeks.. and this is the result.

I would like to dedicate this album to my late father Kenneth Molloy as he is now on "the other side" and him and Mr. Sweeney were best buds all the way to till his departure. We love you dad!!!
